- TAT: Tackling Alcohol Together
- 5 one hour presentations in Orientation Class to address entire drug and alcohol education and prevention spectrum
- Family Empowerment Program
- Group Counseling offered to parents and students.
- Designed to develop a larger parent support network; increase awareness as parents; improve parenting skills; improve communication with adolescents; improve behaviors in adolescents; develop happier and more peaceful relationships between parents and adolescents.

The CAT (Community Assessment Team) and YAR (Youth At Risk) programs are voluntary and provide services for the entire family. Any school-age child or youth may be referred if their conduct places them at risk. Youth with the following behaviors are appropriate for the MHS programs:
- Truancy/academic failure
- Defiance of parents/authority
- Drug use
- Violent/assaultive behaviors
- Curfew violations
- Gang association
- At Risk behaviors with school or law.

- Groups for youth and parents: Alcohol Tobacco & Other Drugs (ATOD), Reducing the Risk (RTR), Choices & Challenges
- Individual, Family & Group Counseling tailored to reduce the risk of juvenile justice involvement
- Referrals and linkages to local resources and programs which best meet the needs presented by the family
- Strength-based assessment services which help the family develop and implement a plan to address its problems, using family and community strengths
- Family centered interventions utilizing family and community strengths
- Home based services
- Case Management and Community Collaboration
Note: Participants of the YAR program must meet certain Medi-Cal eligibility requirements. Some families may participate in both programs for the most comprehensive services.
