Child Nutrition Services

Complete information about Child Nutrition Services (CNS) including cafeteria menus, free and reduced-cost meal applications, and account payments can be found on the CNS website.

Breakfast:

Every school has a breakfast program. Breakfast ends 5 minutes before the beginning of school. Students may purchase a complete breakfast with an entrée, fruit and/or fruit juice, and milk

Lunch:

Children at Twin Oaks are expected to either bring a lunch from home or purchase a lunch in the school cafeteria. It is suggested that your child purchase a weekly ticket. Tickets may be used for both breakfast and lunch. The purchase of this ticket not only reduces the number of children who lose lunch money, it also helps the cafeteria determine the amount of food to prepare. Students may purchase a complete lunch with a choice of entrée, whole grains, daily salad bar, a selection of fruit and vegetables, and a choice of 1% white, non‐fat white, non‐fat chocolate, or Lactaid milk.

Payments:

Payment for meals can be made with cash or a check at the cafeteria. Parents may also use the MySchoolBucks website to deposit money into an electronic account to pay for meals. If your child arrives at school without money for lunch and has reached the charge limit, he/she will be provided an alternate meal such as a cheese sandwich, fruit, vegetables, and milk.  An alternate meal will be provided for breakfast also.

To prevent your child from having to receive an alternate meal, please ensure that you send money for your student's meals each day, or prepay for the meals in advance. Free and reduced lunch applications are available online in the cafeteria.

A complete list of meal prices may be found on the Child Nutrition Services webpage.
