Welcome to Twin Oaks Elementary School!

Dear Twin Oaks Families,

Welcome to Twin Oaks Elementary School, home of the Coyotes! Built in 1998, our school is nestled in the beautiful Twin Oaks Valley of San Marcos. We are proud to be the only school in the district implementing an English and Spanish Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Program, fostering a strong foundation in bilingualism, biliteracy, and sociocultural competence. Our students embark on a journey toward earning the State Seal of Biliteracy [California Education Code (EC) Section 51461], preparing them to be global citizens in an ever-connected world.

At Twin Oaks, our students receive 50% of their instruction in English and 50% in Spanish, strengthening their academic achievement while developing their language abilities and cross-cultural understanding. Beyond academics, we cultivate a positive school culture through the teaching of Social Justice Standards—identity, diversity, justice, and action. Additionally, our Multi-Tiered System of Supports ensures that students' academic and social-emotional needs are met, allowing them to thrive in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Our dedicated and highly qualified staff is passionate about teaching and learning, always placing students at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a rigorous and engaging curriculum, along with targeted instruction and enrichment opportunities every day. As of the 2024-2025 school year, we are proud to share that our entire school is now fully implementing the Dual Language Program.
